These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Passagist ("we", "us", or "our"), a company that allows you to write and print private books, and have them mailed to yourself or your loved ones. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.
1. Eligibility
To access and use our services, you must be at least 18 years old with the power and authority to enter into these Terms, or you must have the consent and supervision of your legal guardian. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
3. Content Ownership and License
You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights in the content that you submit to us for printing and mailing. We do not claim any ownership, royalties, or intellectual property rights in the content you provide. Our sole purpose is to facilitate the writing, printing, and delivery of your private books as requested. We will not use, reproduce, distribute, or display the content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
We may use the content you provide for advertising and other promotional purposes, but only when you have explicitly given us permission to do so. By granting us permission, you authorize us to display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our marketing and promotional efforts.
4. Content Restrictions
You are solely responsible for the content you submit to us. You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Payment and Fees
You agree to pay all fees associated with the services you request from us, including any applicable taxes. All payments must be made in the currency specified at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, and without notice. All orders are made-to-order and are non-refundable. Once an order is placed, we begin the process of creating your custom book, and as such, we cannot offer refunds due to the personalized nature of our services.
All books come with 1 year to complete and print their first copy. Time extensions are available for purchase. Once complete, copies can be purchased indefinitely. All vouchers and gift certificates must be redeemed within 1 year of initial purchase.
6. Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your printed books are delivered to the address you provide within the estimated delivery time. However, we cannot guarantee delivery times and are not responsible for any delays or failures in delivery due to factors beyond our control, such as postal service disruptions, weather conditions, or customs clearance.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the personalized nature of our services, all sales are final. Once an order is placed, we immediately begin the process of creating your custom book, and as such, we cannot offer cancellations or refunds. We encourage you to review your order details and content carefully before submitting your order to ensure it meets your satisfaction.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use of our services poses a risk to us, our users, or our partners.
9. Changes to These Terms of Service
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
